According to Cabin News, citing Business News Australia, KONE announced the purchase of Orbitz Elevators in the future. KONE will acquire Orbitz Elevators, headquartered in Gold Coast, Australia, and all of the company’s product lines in New Zealand.
Orbitz was founded a decade ago by Jonathan Dwyer, who had extensive experience in the elevator industry. After the acquisition of Orbitz Elevators, Jonathan will be at KONE as a consultant for five years.
With this, the transfer of information and services from Orbitz to KONE is done more accurately. The CEO of KONE said, “This purchase and merger of two companies will complete the process of providing services in Australia and surrounding countries.”
